The Coal Heritage mug was made for the National Coal Heritage Area. The NCHA celebrates the coal industry and its history spanning thirteen West Virginia counties.
The mug was released into production on September 14, 2015. They were made in ivory with the decal applied for the left-hand user. When it comes to most single-side decals, the placement almost always favors the right-hand user. That is, if you were to hold the mug with your right hand, the decal would face you.
