The following article ran in The Charleston Gazette on February 11, 1986. It discusses the reintroduction of Fiesta and the special exhibit in Chareston, West Virginia.
The vase shown in the article was originally in the morgue at the plant. When the special HLC/Fiesta exhibit was shown in 1986, this vase as well as other pieces were put on display. Many of the display pieces remained in Charleston and can be seen in their West Virginia history exhibit today. This includes the "disc" vase in old ivory, the ruby red prototype demitasse coffee pot (as it is called in the original sketch book) or small teapot (as it is called in the modeling log) from 1935, and a dark blue child's compartment tray which was made in 1938.
