Meadowtone was a line of experimental dinnerware made by Homer Laughlin in 1950. It was the same as Skytone and Suntone in that the green color was in the clay and it was given a clear glaze. Handles and finials were made in a contrasting white body. Several different shades of green colored clay were considered.

Below is a Meadowtone teacup and saucer from the collection of The Fiesta® Tableware Company. It is shown with a Skytone teacup and saucer for color comparison.

The backstamp in the last image was drawn on September 14, 1950. According to company drawing records, it was listed as: Trademark - "MEADOWTONE" for green body. The Meadowtone marking was made between Skytone's of June 12, 1950 and Suntone's of December 11, 1950.
