This decal has been found on Century and Yellowstone, both in vellum and with red trim, circa early 1940s. It was a standard decal for the Edwin M. Knowles China Company.
It is likely the Homer Laughlin examples were decorated by an outside firm. The red trim is of a lesser quality. Also, Mexican themed patterns by HLC often have red trim on the verge with accent lines on the handles.
